It can be a little nerve wracking when you’re asked to take photos for a fellow photographer. But, when it’s your daughter who wants to update and refresh her photos for her website and social media it can prove to be a bit of a challenge.

I mean, who’s going to do the posing and call the shots…

Thankfully Sam and I have a great relationship and we pretty much had things sorted from the beginning.

Was she nervous? Yes! Just like any other client it took a few minutes for Sam to find her comfort zone and feel confident.

Sam is based in Sunbury, Melbourne and is a wedding and family photographer.

We decided that we would shoot in locations that she used for her family sessions.

And they proved to be awesome, from the bluestone wall of the old jail, to the railway bridge and the nook they all made for great shots, with awesome backgrounds.

Showing off your personality is very important when it comes to your business branding photography, and we definitely did that. Sam doesn’t take herself too seriously, and enjoys a good laugh and having fun.

She has a natural way of making people feel comfortable and relaxed.

Don’t get me wrong she is also super professional and always go the extra mile for her clients.
