Trend Alert! Body Suits for Boudoir Photography...

Of all the different looks you can choose for your boudoir photos, I believe bodysuits are essential.

When planning your photo shoot there are a few items I always recommend bringing, and at the top of that list is always a bodysuit. Here’s 4 reasons why bodysuits are essential for your session.

LET’S TALK ABOUT WHY I THINK YOU SHOULD CONSIDER A BODYSUIT.

They hug your curves in all the right places, and they can help to create a more hourglass figure. Furthermore, if you’re feeling self-conscious about your body, a bodysuit can help to make you feel more confident by highlighting your favorite traits and minimizing other areas.

BODYSUITS ARE VERY VERSATILE.

There are so many different styles and colors of bodysuits available, so you can find one that suits your personal style. Need a little lift? You can find them with an underwire. Want to minimize your tummy? Find one where the focal point is your boobs. Not crazy about your arms? Find one with sleeves. They can be dressed up with thigh highs and heels or go for a softer look paired with a silk robe.

BODYSUITS ARE PRACTICAL.

They are one-piece garments and can sometimes work with your outerwear. Depending on the style they can be paired with a blazer or jean jacket. So you’re getting more uses out of them than just your boudoir photos.

If you’re thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, I highly recommend considering a bodysuit. It’s a flattering, versatile, and practical option that can help you to feel confident and sexy in front of my camera.

Here are a few tips for choosing the right bodysuit for your boudoir shoot:

  • Consider your body type. There are bodysuits available to flatter all body types and you don’t have to settle. When trying them on give yourself an honest assessment. Make sure it’s not hitting you in a way that’s creating a fold that doesn’t normally exist.

  • Choose a style that you love. There are so many different styles of bodysuits available, so find one that suits your personal style in a color that you love.

  • Make sure it’s fits in all the right spots. I’m not going to pretend that wearing a teddy is comfortable, but finding a flattering piece affects the way it feels.

Bodysuits are essential for your boudoir photos because they are versatile, flattering, and in everyone’s budget.
